The whole week of the Boston marathon bombings have
really impacted Chris and I. The bad
things of course were horrible and inexcusable, and the way our
town--especially all the different departments of police, the first
responders--those who disregarded their own safety to help the injured, the
media who put their headlines aside in order to assist wherever and whenever
possible, and the resilience of all the people in the impacted towns showed the
world what the Boston area is really all about.
We made a decision to help and show our appreciation for our safety and
peace of mind by donating to "1Boston". We know the money won't heal the broken
hearts, or replace those lost, but it might help with medical bills or prosthetic's or something.......anything to help them get on with living.
