Our Nana turns 85 this year. She has been an amazing example of a servants heart. She taught her children who then taught us and we are now passing this on to our children. We want to honor her to so are performing 85 acts of kindness in honor of this amazing woman!

Act #40- Wounded Warrier Project (Cheryll)
"Rick recently donated both his time, money and muscle to the Wounded Warrior Project by participating in the Tough Mudders Challenge. Tough Mudders is a hardcore 10-12 mile obstacle course designed by British Special Forces to test all around strength, stamina, mental grit, and camaraderie. To date, Tough Mudders participants have raised more than $5 million for the Wounded Warrior Project. Rick's actions were hardly random, but extremely focused. His training started in January. He was definitely the oldest on his team (The Wolf Pack), but he was the most successful in tackling the course (all that running paid off)! In 94 degree heat, running up and down the black diamond slopes of Gunstock Mountain he successfully completed all but one obstacle (just two hand holds away from the end)! What a great event and worthy organization! I'm very proud of what he did, not only for himself but for others."
**PS I can't figure out how to get the pictures to turn the right way on the blog for some reason. I will make sure they are correct in the Book***
