In San Diego it is a frequent occurrence to be stopped at a
traffic light and have a homeless friend walk by your car with a sign asking
for food or help. We made the decision
to keep a continuous stash of granola bars in the side door of our cars so that
we always had something to offer them.
With this, we have even had the chance to have cool conversations with
some of them, and they have all been so thankful!
