Our church holds a food distribution 3 times per week to help
feed our friends in the neighborhood.
The one that fits in our working schedule is the Saturday morning
distribution, 8:00 AM. It was mentioned
that volunteers had been low on Saturday mornings, so we planned ahead with a
few friends, woke up early Saturday morning and headed over! We helped bag bags and bags of potatoes,
plums, avocados, and more, and greeted each friend with a smile as we handed
them a bag of food to add to their cart.
