We continue to do some simple acts of kindness in our daily lives, like holding the
door open for folks, helping someone at the grocery store who can't reach the
higher shelves for a product they need. A young lady in the store with a
young child needed help getting a potted plant from outside the store and could
not go out with her cart, she dropped some stuff and I helped her pick it up
and then went outside to get the potted plant and brought it in so that she
didn't have to take the baby out of the cart and deal with so much hassle.
I volunteered to throw a baby surprise party for a new person in work.
I did most of the work and the party was a huge surprise for our
co-worker. He moved her from out of state and has no family here. His
family was so appreciative. These are all simple acts of kindness to us
but the person in need of help always leaves with a smile.
